Job Role: Student Engagement Manager

Our programs, Challenges Abroad is part of the FutureSense Group, a global organization headquartered in the UK. For over 10 years we have prided ourselves on doing more than just sending volunteers abroad. We invest in students, providing them the support and opportunities to reach their full potential and exceed their goals. Our programs offer a range of exciting alternative break, study abroad trips and internship programs that provide our participants with the opportunity to see the world and add to their student development; all whilst making a difference to disadvantaged communities overseas. We work with high schools, colleges and universities to provide trips to faculties, student groups and individuals.

To help us grow we are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and committed individual to join our team! This role offers a lot of responsibility and the opportunity to develop personally and professionally, as well as amazing opportunities to travel overseas to see our programs first hand!
You will be responsible for building relationships with colleges and universities to promote our full range of programs as well as recruiting Challenge Leaders and working with them to build a team. You will also provide Challenge Leaders support in recruiting and managing their team as well as ensuring all participants are being able to raise the money for the trip either personally or through fundraising events.
So what will you be doing?
This role is home-based, but most of your time will be out and about meeting with colleges, high schools, team leaders and students. One of the key roles is setting up partnerships with colleges and high schools for us to be able to market our programs. Additionally, you will be expected to:
The role will be based across 4 sectors of the business and could involve the following:
Develop marketing plans to meet the set targets
Increase the brand presence using social media, posters, flyers etc.
Keep on top of developments in the industry
Provide input for new product developments for us to continue to grow as an organization
You will be an outgoing individual, with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm that you are able to transmit to others and inspire them to volunteer overseas.
1. Previous experience of promoting products to students and recruiting participants
2. Personal experience of travelling and volunteering overseas
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
4. The ability to create and deliver engaging presentations
5. Previous experience in designing marketing material and online promotions would be extremely desirable and useful in this role
6. Previous experience working within a student organisation
Individual will work remotely and will be expected to travel to area schools and colleges. The position is open to individuals who have completed their undergraduate studies and are looking to gain additional hands-on experience in a strong leadership role. We are currently looking for applicants who would like to be based in the Sydney area.
We are offering a competitive remuneration package with a high incentive structure on delivery of business goals and targets. The package will be tailored to the individual and will include overseas trips to our various programme locations.
