This internship will provide students studying business, finance and commerce related courses the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a completely different setting to what they are typically used to. We work within underprivileged communities in developing countries where the concepts of business and commerce are not common knowledge. On this internship you could be sharing your knowledge either with children at a high school, by building a curriculum around business studies or helping develop programs for economic improvement of people in the local community.
As an intern, you could be monitoring the effectiveness of a micro finance program reaching out to the weakest sections of the community or helping develop an initiative to raise business awareness amongst children and adults in the community.
The focus of our business programs is improved livelihoods for the weakest sections of the community and through your knowledge and innovative approach you will be able to develop a range of programs to both understand the issues, raise the awareness and in the long term address economic development.
Firstly, a great opportunity to learn about international community development and media capabilities in a developing country. Secondly, living and working overseas will offer a platform for personal development, taking you outside your comfort zone, gaining new skills and helping you grow as an individual.
Finally, as a program intern your work will benefit the local communities we support and you will have the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy and your unique handprint on the program!
