The Challenges Abroad Difference

Sustainable Community Impact

Every Challenges Abroad program supports the goals and objectives of our charity, The FutureSense Foundation. FutureSense live and work year-round in our partner communities, creating and overseeing development programs that have a long-term and sustainable impact. Our partnership ensures that all our participants work on ethical projects and can make a long-lasting, positive impact in the community.

Continuous support

As a volunteer you are supported by our team on the ground in Australia throughout the entirety of your program. We help prepare you for your overseas program, answer questions and guide you each step of the way. When you’re overseas our in-country teams provide you full support during your challenge, from the moment you depart to when you arrive home. We also have a 24/7 hotline linked to our central support team that can be called at any time in case of an emergency.

Build your skills

No matter what you’re studying, when you join an overseas program or our virtual internship program, you’ll gain some amazing experience that relates to your degree. On top of this you’ll also develop skills important to all employers, such as teamwork, leadership, problem solving, communication and adaptability!
