- About us
With little or no after school programs available, the youth of the area are at risk of becoming involved with drugs, alcohol, and crime. The Sports Program is providing local youth with a positive activity to harness their energy and help them to develop self-confidence and pride through sport.
We are working very closely with the local community to provide a fun environment for the 60+ students who attend each day!
Volunteers who are studying a sport related degree and/or who are passionate about youth development, health education, fitness, sports and will be a huge asset to this program. Volunteers will need to be passionate and enthusiastic and bring a whole lot of energy to keep up with the local children of Arusha!

You will volunteer Monday to Friday with the local “Football Coordinator” to carry out after school soccer training sessions where you will assist to increase the supervision and attention for the individual participants. Depending on the time of year you may have the opportunity to help with tournament management, match assistance, game prep and refereeing.
Volunteers will also have the chance to teach children in a fun and engaging way about healthy lifestyle practices, the importance of fitness, teamwork, leadership and other life and athletic skills.
Volunteers should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to think on your feet and respond to participant needs. They should also have the ability to work as a team member and display leadership skills at the same time.

Tanzania offers some of Africa’s finest game viewing. This safari visits one of the major National Parks for an exciting combination of wildlife experiences. The vast open plains of Serengeti are home to the big cats – cheetah, leopard, lion; plus vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and other small plains game. Ngorongoro crater is an expansive natural wonder, watch out for the rare black rhino and see the hippos splashing playfully in pools. Lake Manyara affords much chance to see large tusked elephant and maybe even a tree climbing lion. Camping gives you an added feeling of being close to nature – closer sometimes than you might expect!

Today gives you the opportunity to explore a little further afield from Arusha. Visiting Lake Duluti gives the opportunity for both a walking trip and canoeing on the lake itself. This is an extraordinary way to get up close to the wildlife and also witness the dramatic setting of the lake within a volcanic crater.
Today you’ll set out for Tarangire National Park at 9am. Packed lunch in hand, you’ll be witness to an area of natural beauty which houses one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the world. Be sure to take your camera today as Tarangire National Park plays host to a smorgasbord of migratory predators, zebra, eland and elephants as well as the spectacularly vivacious yellow-collared lovebirds who are amongst the countless animals that call Tarangire home.
Praised by Ernest Hemingway as ‘the loveliest in Africa’, Lake Manyara is the heart of Manyara National Park. Beginning the day with a game drive you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch followed by the contrast of Manyara’s lush jungle-like ground-water forests and the alkaline lake. It’s thought that even an untrained eye should expect to see 100 species of birdlife here and these stalks and pink-hued flamingos are certainly not your standard blue tit or pigeon! Late afternoon you’ll head back to the campsite to rest up before tomorrow.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
You’ll have an early start today before you descend in to the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, in the remnants of what could have once been a soaring volcanic mountain as high as Kilimanjaro, you’ll follow a guided tour and be bystander to the 30,000 animals of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the world’s last remaining Black Rhinos before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
You’ll have the opportunity to visit Arusha National Park just a short trip from Arusha town. This gives a fantastic opportunity to go on a walking safari at the foot of Mt Meru, while taking in the awesome views of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Today you have one a last chance to grab some souvenirs before transferring to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight home.
