Want to celebrate finishing year 12 with a bang? Look no further than spending time in Northern Thailand at an elephant sanctuary, exploring Chiang Mai and volunteering at a local community in the hills!
You'll spend your first day in Chiang Mai, settling in to the local culture and exploring the amazing night markets! Then you'll head up to Mae Sariang for your volunteer project.
Here and in neighbouring hill tribes you'll be working with children in our partner schools on a range of fun activities to enhance their education and the school facilities. In the afternoons and evenings you'll get to explore the local shops, trek to waterfalls and visit some amazing temples!
After volunteering you'll head back to Chiang Mai where you'll spend a day working with with orphaned and rescued elephants at an elephant sanctuary, visiting the incredible Doi Suthep temple, chilling out at the Chiang Mai Canyon Waterpark and eating delicious Pad Thai!
This is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and do something meaningful to celebrate finishing high-school! To learn more about our Schoolies program and other available destinations click here.
