PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Decades of economic and infrastructure challenges have placed significant pressure on Laos’s healthcare system, and the impacts are still felt today - particularly in rural and remote communities.
Many families continue to face limited access to healthcare services, preventative care, and health education, with distance, resources, and workforce shortages creating ongoing barriers to wellbeing.

Making an Impact
Contribute to Global Health & Well-Being!
This program offers a hands-on opportunity to collaborate with our team in Laos, contributing to long-term health promotion initiatives. As you learn about current health issues, challenges and disparities affecting the local community, you will use your skills, knowledge, and passions to address these topics through health education workshops. You will primarily work at our local partner schools and can expect to cover topics such as:
🍎 Food Safety & Nutrition
🤧 Disease Transmission & Prevention
🚺 Female Health & Hygiene
🚑 First Aid & Safety
These workshops will help impact children and their families to live healthier and longer lives.
Who can join the program
WE'RE LOOKING FOR HIGH-ENERGY, PASSIONATE INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE LOOKING TO LEAVE THEIR HANDPRINT ON THE WORLD.
If you have work experience or are studying in a field related to medicine, nursing, public health, biomedicine, allied healthcare or science, this challenge is perfect for you!
